Grace Kelly's wardrobe at V&A

A film star who lived the fairytale dream and married her Prince Charming, Grace Kelly was an icon to millions. Her timeless, elegant look defined the 1950s and is still copied today.

Now her wardrobe is in a major exhibition at London's Victoria and Albert museum which opened yesterday. Featuring dresses from Hitchcock classics such as Dial M For Murder and To Catch A Thief, as well as the gown she wore to accept her Oscar in 1955, the display charts the actress's life in fashion.

Among the exhibits will be designs from the Fifties to the Seventies by her favourite couturiers Christian Dior, Balenciaga, Givenchy and Yves St Laurent.

Here are a few of my favs - worth seeing!!
The dress, designed by Edith Head that Kelly wore in Hitchcock's Rear Window
The gown worn by Grace in the film High Society
